I am not finding any proper information to reach cat ba island. Right now, i am stuck in hai phong city. No one tell me exact information.

One person said, you can go to cat ba island by bus… There is no any ferry or speed boat required ? Help me…no one understand english here

Hi there, the bus take you to the harbor then you use speed boat to get to the island, don't worry it's very easy.

This wasn't the fault of the hostel, but everyone in my room seemed to be sick and it was very gross to be inside my room.

Purrrfect stay
The hostel owner is amazing. She was super kind and helpful, lovely to talk to. Even invited us for dinner with her and let us use the facilities before check in. Her hospitality was wonderful The beds are plush and comfy, I slept through each night without my earplugs! (A first) Breakfast was a treat, good options and lots of drinks. The resto is very fairly priced and tasty. The location is close to everything In the town. She has 8 wonderful cats who are so fun and nice to have around (only downstairs)
The mopeds we hired seemed abit outdated

Very Good
Hostel and room were clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They also have a nice little restaurant downstairs offering plenty of variety.
Beds were quite small which made them uncomfortable to sleep in. I'm not even above 6ft but I couldn't stretch fully and had to bend my knees. Rooms are also small and at full capacity there isn't much space to store your stuff other than the small lockers provided. Location is on top of a hill which can make it hard work to reach if you don't have a motorcycle but still close to the city centre and plenty of shops nearby. Breakfast could have been better but still did the job.
